Cap Property Taxes
Lock your property tax to what you paid for your home, for as long as you own it. No more hikes because an appraiser decided the neighborhood got expensive. It covers rentals too — when the tax bill goes up, so does the rent.
50/50 Custody
Equal custody as the default starting point for two fit parents, with enforcement that actually has teeth. Kids’ sports and activities protected in the order. No child support obligation for parents earning $50,000 or less.
Real Careers, Not Just a Test
Give juniors and seniors credit for real work — 10 hours a week or more in a licensed trade, construction, networking, data cabling, or computer science. A diploma and a paycheck, not a diploma and a loan.
Data Centers in Corridors, Not Neighborhoods
Build them where they belong — in designated corridors, generating their own power and sourcing their own water. Not next door to your house, and not on the back of your electric bill.
Body Cameras On, Flock Cameras Off
One year of mandatory body camera retention, a real process for residents to get the footage, and penalties for switching a camera off. And a ban on Flock cameras and warrantless mass tracking. Cameras should point at the government, not at you.
